I began my acting career at a very young age as most children did-in play. But through the years I knew that I had a different gift. One that was believable when I played the part. Later I would realize that I was perfecting my instrument as I play.
My favorite playtime characters were judge, teacher and preacher. I remember the times I was playing with my cousins and I was always asked to be the preacher. This was not by coincidence, but was by providence.
Many of us spend years running from our dreams as we spend hours mocking those who chase their dreams. Well, I decided to be on the side of the chasers. I spent years running from myself and finally I decided I had enough. And said to myself why not me? Why can't I? Well, I cashed out the 401k and here I am.
I have worked on and off in theatres since my college days at the University of Florida back in 1989. I have also had the pleasure of working in 3 commercials. This is all during my hobby days.
Additionally, I have been in some local projects and film. A project we were working on for fun and was a part of a 3 location shoot was voted as one of the best local shorts in town. See the story.
